July 2014 - Presented in both WAV and
Dr. Rex Format, this Dubroom Reggae
Percussion Pack comes with 16 loops from an
afuche, cowbell, tambourine and a woodblock.
The tempo is 140 BPM (straight) and you
should be able to insert them right at the
start of your drum loop.
Reggae
percussion is hard to find.
Especially when you're looking for free and
legal variants. This pack is a humble
contribution from the Dubroom to the online
massive. You should be able to spice up your
Reggae track just a little bit with these
dry loops. They are released under Creative
Commons which means, go ahead do what you
want with them and please give the Dubroom a
little credit. That's all.

June 2014 - Recorded with professional
microphones (Shure, Neuman etc), the VOXX
L2S Kit has the sounds of Sonor and Yamaha
Drums, plus Zildjan, Paiste and Istambull
brass (Hi Hats and Cymbals). With different
velocities and hits in 24 bit audio (Stereo
and Mono), this sample pack is better than a
lot of commercially available acoustic Drum
libraries especially when you have (DUB)
Reggae in mind.
Getting a good Drum sound starts with a a
high quality recording of good drums, plus
the skillfull hit of the drummer. All this
is done in the Voxx L2S Drum kit, so you're
ready to load the samples in your favorite
(soft) synth or drum computer. The sampling
was done in Bulgaria by VOXX Labs who
released it in 2008 under a Creative Commons
copyright with the intention to provide
foundational drums to a community of
creative producers. That would most
definitely include the visitors/users of
Studio Dubroom and so you can download the
Drum Kit straight from the Dubroom website.

Kitchen. Living in Jamaica with his family,
he has a Video channel and nationally
broadcasted show which is labeled "part
cooking show, part documentary, 100%
original". He also released two vocal
sample packs for DJ's and producers to use
in productions, and all he asks is to give
him some credit and share your track(s) with
him. Deal? Read on...
Jamaican
food is like Jamaican music: recognizable
and kind of essential when you want to
produce some thing. Even though Reggae Music
(and especially DUB) have long crossed the
border and became international, Jamaican
elements continue to be essential. It has
even come so far that many, many
contemporary music producers use Jamaican
vocals or rhythms to define their sound.

April 2014 - Often, specific sounds in DUB
mixes and DJ sets are pretty basic and
simple: take the infamous "beep"
that features on so many Dub tracks. Another
thing is the "DUB Siren", often
used in Sound System performances. The
excellent INTERRUPTOR WEBSITE offers a free
VST Plug In that works, acts and sounds like
any other Siren device. Find it out for
yourself in this first volume of sampled Dub
Siren effects, presented in WAV or MP3
formats.
There are
27 different sound samples in this pack,
ranging from short to long. They come
"dry", so you will have to add
your own reverb and delay as you use the
sounds over the music.

Software discontinued their product
"REBIRTH". It was the forerunner
of REASON, and is now available for free
download from a website called the Rebirth
Museum. In the same time, Propellerhead
released a REBIRTH REFILL for Reason 3.0 and
beyond.
Time for a little comparance.
When Propellerhead discontinued Rebirth
and created the Rebirth Museum, they pleased
a lot of people. Not only those who allready
had REASON and the latest computers, also
those who some older material could now
create some really cool beats and licks with
this simulator of the Roland products.
